Moringa (lat. Moringa oleifera) is the only plant genus of the so-called bennut family and is one of the oldest known medicinal plants. Moringa probably originated in India and is now also found in Africa on the Arabian Peninsula and in Southeast Asia.

In Ayurveda, the so-called "miracle tree" has been used for over 5000 years to cure a variety of ailments. Various products such as oils, extracts, tea and leaf powder are made from the individual components of the moringa tree (roots, seeds, leaves, flowers).

Moringa is one of the most nutrient-rich plants of all; the reason for this is the variety of nutrients and vital substances contained in Moringa, such as
